www.1014.nyc strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. www.1014.nyc has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.

www.1014.nyc makes available the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows www.1014.nyc to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Venue Accessibility

Closed Captioning
For our live Zoom events, attendees can enable Zoom’s live transcription feature to provide automatic captioning through the platform’s closed caption settings.
Video Captioning
Beginning in January 2022, closed-captioning for recorded videos will be made available following our online events. Captioned videos will be made available on our website after the event, usually 72 hours after the event. For recordings prior to 2022, captions can be provided upon request. Please send an email to j.stubbs@1014.nyc with any inquiries regarding video captions.
